How I Got Here

I learned of Ayco while working for an estate-planning law firm that shared mutual clients. As I witnessed how having the appropriate estate-planning documents in place could help one achieve goals in the future, I became increasingly interested in how these same individuals would put together their portfolios and how they used Ayco to do so. I joined Ayco because I was looking for a career and really wanted to grow professionally.

What I Do

I am the administrative assistant to a wonderful team in Encompass, Ayco's Family Office Practice. In Encompass, we assist our clients with a vast array of tasks, which could be anything from facilitating a wire transfer to purchasing a home to preparing their tax returns.

Teamwork is an essential component of my job, and I have found that my team members as well as other associates are always there and willing to help in any way they can.

A Typical Day

I like to start my day by arriving early and checking in with team members on the agenda or projected tasks for the day. My days are always busy and never the same. The great thing about Encompass is that there is always a variety of projects that are unique, exciting and challenging.

My typical day is spent lending a hand wherever needed. Whether helping with expense reports, typing client correspondence, arranging travel plans, confirming meetings, transcribing dictation from my account manager or drafting a wire authorization or cover letter for a team member, my days are typically exciting and challenging. My team is very appreciative of the work I do, which makes me want to do more and help in every way I can.
